• If you aquire your autographs through mail then is the teams' addresses a must. I usually use the addresses to these six leagues when I am writing to a player. A nice tip is to write to players when they are playing in the juniors because they sign your item almost every time. It is of course hard to know whether a player is going to be good or not. But just challange your hockey knowledge and try to find the next Tkachuk or LeClair in the juniors.

Some of you might get dissapointed that I don't have any addresses directly home to the players, but there is a good reason for that. I don't think that we shall intrude in the players private life. Writing to their team is OK, but don't disturb their privacy by filling their mailbox with fan letters. That is my policy.

When you are sitting there and trying to compose a nice letter to the player, always remember to be polite. Other things to think of when writing:

    • Write as clear as you can, especially if you have a messy handwriting.
    • Tell the player what you like in his play.
    • Thank him on beforehand.
